TURBINE-X was forged on the deck plates of industrial power generation. Beginning in 1996 as PowerTech Energy, our founders provided specialized technical consultancy across heavy rotating machinery. As our operations expanded through Turbine Maintenance Services (TMS) in 2015, our field crews spent thousands of hours tearing down, aligning, and overhauling gas turbines and reciprocating engines. This hands-on mechanical exposure built an uncompromising understanding of why conventional power installations face on-site delays, contractor friction, and premature component failures.
In 2020, our consulting and field service operations joined forces to form TURBINE-X Energy in Western Canada. We recognized that industrial operators didn’t just need isolated repairs; they needed unified, fully integrated systems engineered around their operational reality. Operating within the X-GROUP of Companies since 2022, we now deliver complete, factory-packaged modular solutions, integrating prime movers, battery storage, and pre-wired E-houses to serve critical baseload and microgrid clients across Canada, the U.S., and global markets.
